Introducing Parc Botannia @ Fernvale, the upcoming mega new launch development by a joint venture of Sing Holdings and Wee Hur Development.
While waiting for the latest information to be released by the developers, how well do you know the history of Seletar? Do you know what it WAS in the Past? What HAS this part of Singapore turned into now and what WILL this north-eastern district become in the future?
Let’s start this journey together here to explore the exciting new possibilities awaiting in the future Seletar Regional Centre…Now that we have gained a better appreciation of what Seletar was in the PAST, let’s take a look at what it has become TODAY…Seletar has come of age from its humble beginnings. Today, it boasts a comprehensive road network & efficient public transport system.
Let’s take a closer look at the infrastructure in place to usher in the exciting new possibilities awaiting in the future Seletar Regional Centre.
After understanding the infrastructure in Seletar, let’s explore something closer to our hearts – FOOD.
Singaporeans’ favourite pastime is eating, so it is definitely a must to have good food galore in every housing estate.
Seletar is no exception and it is blessed to have Jalan Kayu designated as an identity node. This means the shophouses there will be conserved and the famous eateries will not be relocated.
Furthermore, 32 former colonial bungalows have been slated for conservation & redevelopment as part of The Oval @ Seletar Aerospace Park – a new lifestyle enclave. This transformation has already began with some houses converted into F&B outlets. After exploring all those good food that Seletar has to offer, it is now time to burn off some calories!
Seletar boasts a myriad of recreational facilities catering to both the young & young at heart. From an aviation-themed playground to a rustic animal resort to a classic country club and more, there is just so much to do here in your leisure time.
So whether you are a sports enthusiast, an animal lover, an avid angler or nature lover, there is definitely something for you in Seletar…
Now that we know all about the recreational options available in Seletar, let’s take a look at the other amenities in the vicinity.
Shopping is the other national pastime of Singaporeans, so here in Seletar, we have not just one or two but THREE shopping malls for you to shop to your heart’s content…
Prefer reading instead? Not to worry, the newly revamped Sengkang Public Library will have you reading for hours on end.
Planning to start a family? The wide array of childcare facilities & educational institutions available will put your mind at ease.
Let’s take a peek into what the FUTURE of Seletar holds for us…
Seletar Aerospace Park is not a done deal but still a work in progress. When completed by 2018, it will create 10,000 jobs, predominantly skilled and technical positions.
Seletar Regional Centre also has not taken shape yet. In time to come, it is projected to grow to twice the size of Tampines Regional Centre today.
Seletar Airport will have a new two-storey passenger terminal, which will be big enough to handle up to 700,000 passengers a year at the end of 2018.
Sengkang General and Community Hospitals will open by the second half of 2018, equipped with clinics that provide specialised services for eye and heart conditions. With tremendous growth potential in Seletar, it is therefore fitting that Parc Botannia, an exciting new private residential development by Sing Holdings & Wee Hur Holdings, will rise in the up-and-coming locale of Fernvale. Parc Botannia aspires to be the new icon of Seletar, where old-world charm meets contemporary living.
Parc Botannia comprises four 22-storey residential blocks with a variety of unit types (1-bedroom to 5-bedroom) to cater to different lifestyles & needs of buyers. All 735 units are North-South oriented with fully efficient layouts.
Parc Botannia will also have an in-house childcare centre and full condominium facilities. It will be directly connected to Thanggam LRT station from a side gate via a sheltered linkway. Another side gate allows residents seamless access to the communal park just outside, which would also be developed by Sing Holdings & Wee Hur Holdings.
